GENERAL INFORMATION

1. GENERAL

a. This enroute Supplement is a DOD publication produced and distributed every 4 weeks by the Defense Mapping Agency Aerospace Center ( D.M.A.A.C. ), St. Louis A.F.S., MO 63118. It is designed for use with the High and Low Altitude Enroute charts for Europe, North Africa and Middle East. This publication is maintained current by MAN issued by D.M.A.A.C. and regular N.O.T.A.M. and Special Notices issued by Air Force Central N.O.T.A.M. Facility, Carswell A.F.B., TX. ( ICAO teletype address : EDAAYO ).

b. This publication contains an Aerodrome / Facility Directory, navigational facilities, radar data, special notices and procedures applicable to the area of coverage. All aerodromes published shall have at least one of the following :

1. a published DoD instrument approach procedure and / or approved radar minima.
2. Those aerodromes published on enroute charts in accordance with applicable specifications.
3. at least one 3,000' or longer runway of hard surface where landings of DoD aircraft are not specifically prohibited.
4. Specifically requested by DoD units to meet operational requirements. ( ... )
