FOREWORD 

We, the members of graduating class 54-M, in presenting this chronical of a very important part of our lives, honor the memory of one, who by his kindness and character influenced all who knew him. During a period often burdened with tensions and uncertainties, he spread his infectious good cheer and pleasant philosophy of life among his class mates. He earned the nickname "No Sweat" and the title was well deserved for he was a good student and a superior pilot. We cannot forget his genuine interest in the whole human race nor his generosity and unselfish willingness to lend a hand towards any cause, great or small. Most of all he was a gentleman and a person of ideals and sensibilities. To 2nd Lt. Charles R. Noble we humbly dedicate this book.
