Jets

Airliners of the Golden Age

This superbly illustrated book is the ultimate book on jet airliners. Aram Gesar's stunning photographs capture the beauty of these airliners and James Ott's accompanying text contains a wealth of fascinating facts and anecdotes.

Jet-powered commercial aircraft and the people who work with them have changed our world. In slightly over three decades since their introduction, jet airliners have become the primary means of international travel.

Beginning with the Comet and ending with the Airbus Industrie A340, Jets covers the world's commercial jet aircraft and tells the stories of the test pilots, cockpit crews, technicians and airline managers who have been involved with them.

With its combination of over two hundred colour photographs and highly informative text, Jets provides a unique record of the world's commercial jet aircraft.
