FOREWORD
This monograph recounts the air interdiction operations of the Fourteenth Air Force in China proper and IndoChina during the Second World War. Detailed attention is given to a description and analysis of efforts to interdict ocean and river shipping, roads, and railroads. A final chapter attempts to apply some of the lessons learned in the Second World War to the present day ( 1955 ) transportation system of China.
