Each issue of the series focuses on the major aircraft in the history of military aviation, the technology behind them and the men who operate them. Typically, an issue contains around 30 aircraft profiles, several pages showing the decorations displayed and black and white photographs. Major conflicts from the Second World War to Afghanistan are covered.
