BELGIAN MILITARY AVIATION, 1945 - 1977

This is a nice thick booklet ( the third of a series ), well - illustrated with detailed texts and photographs, that shows aircraft used by both Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg ( 1945 - 1977 ).

In this, the third of a series of books reviewing Europe's military air arms, the subject is Belgium and its neighbouring Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The two states are normally associated with the Netherlands under the convenient umbrella title of ’ Benelux ’, but in order that they may receive full coverage, the three will be dealt with in two publications.
It is the intention of this book to present as accurately as possible, a picture of military aviation in Belgium in 1977. This has been coupled with military markings since 1940, including wartime R.A.F. Squadrons.
As with the previous books in this series, technical specifications and information are deliberately kept to a minimum, as there are readily available ’ Jane's ’ and the ’ Observers Books ’.
