Description

The time is Spring 1917, and in Flanders the inferior planes of the Royal Flying Corps are being decimated by the red Jastas of Richthofen and Voss. To battle - weary pilots only one ray of hope is seen - No. 55 Squadron, led by the brilliant John Seymour, has recently been equipped with the new S.E.5 Scout and is now holding the murderous Albatrosses.

 

This is the scene when Norman McConnell, a young American volunteer, is posted to the Squadron.
